One of the biggest differences between consuming and building is that builders think in assets.

Your knowledge can become an asset.

Your reputation can become an asset.

Your audience can become an asset.

Your skills can become an asset.

Your intellectual property can become an asset.

Your business systems can become an asset.

Your relationships and network can become an asset.

Your discipline can become an asset.

The objective is not simply to make more money.

The objective is to become the kind of person who can consistently create value and convert that value into sustainable income, ownership and long-term wealth.

Then build around it.

For example:

Week 4: Put it in front of real people and improve it.

That’s execution.

Or:

Goal: Create an additional income stream.

Don’t spend 30 days researching every possible opportunity.

Choose one legitimate path.

Learn it.

Build the system.

Take action.

Measure the result.

Improve.

Repeat.

Discipline over emotion.
